CS Corporate Advisors has participated as the sole exclusive financial advisor for Plating Brap in its sale process to the private equity firm Abac Capital.

Plating Brap, established in 2004 in Igualada (Barcelona, Spain), is a company specialized in plating on plastic, covering sectors such as automotive, packaging, electronics, taps and sanitary, exporting 80% of its production mainly to European countries. In the automotive sector it is a second level supplier for big firms like Opel, Toyota, Seat, Ford, Peugeot, Audi or Volkswagen. The company posted Sales of 17 M euros and Ebitda of 8 M in 2017.

The investment made by Abac Capital is aimed at improving the company’s productive capacity, consisting nowadays of 12.000 square meters worth of facilities, as well as supporting its expansion plan both nationally and internationally.

Abac Capital is a Spanish Private Equity firm managing a €320 million fund supported by institutional investors. The Plating Brap operation is the fourth investment made by Abac after the acquisitions of the automotive spare parts supplier Grupo Metalcaucho (deal also advised by CS Corporate Advisors), the seat manufacturer Figueras International Seating and the medical firm specialized in weight loss medicines PronoKal Group.
